Registration/Stipend Applications will be accepted on the basis of order received, stipend qualifications, and interest in workshop topics. Review of applications will begin March 16, 2009.

Stipend Qualifications

• Community college faculty for 3+ years, full or part-time
• Commitment to:
  • to attend all three days of the workshop
  • incorporate material from workshop into curriculum through the next two semesters
  • provide brief follow-up reports to OAH at end of fall and spring semesters

NOTE: Those interested in attending the workshop without the stipend may submit a registration which will be considered after stipend participant slots have been filled. Please submit early in case registration fills quickly.

Application Process

The application for the regional workshops and stipend includes an accompanying written interest statement on how applicants see the workshop helping them in their teaching, their background, and their interest in the workshop session topics. If you have any questions regarding the application or the workshop, please contact Workshop Coordinator Juli Jones at jjones @ oah.org.
