The St. Louis Meeting

  1. How are the numbers for preregistration looking and what is the mood of the membership?
  2. I have a reservation at Adam's Mark. What do I do?
  3. How can I locate the specific room in which a session or event will take place?
  4. Once I arrive in St. Louis, where do I register or pick up my preregistration materials (i.e., badge and Pocket Program)?
  5. What is being done to facilitate travel between the downtown hotels, offsite sessions, and Saint Louis University?
  6. I plan to drive. Where should I park?
  7. What is the OAH doing to ensure that the disabled have access to the 2000 meeting?
  8. Why are we meeting at Saint Louis University (SLU)? I understand some of the meeting rooms have crucifixes on the wall.
  9. I am a member who fears for my safety in a large city. Isn't the OAH threatening the security of its members by having the meeting outside of a safe hotel?

OAH and the Adam's Mark Hotel

  1. Aren't we politicizing the organization by taking this stand (i.e., moving the meeting out of the Adam's Mark Hotel because of charges of racial discrimination against it)?
  2. How could this have happened? Why didn't the OAH find out about the reputation of the Adam's Mark chain before January of this year?
